Attendance and Punctuality

Progress in school depends upon regular attendance and punctuality.

Parents are asked to ensure that:-

q       Students attend regularly and arrive at school on time and to telephone the school on the first day of absence.

q       Students must bring a letter of explanation on their return.

q       Requests for a family holiday during term time must be made in writing to the Headteacher.

Good attendance and punctuality are regarded with certificates and awards, which form part of the student’s Record of Achievement.
