Sex Education

The course is part of the Learning for Life programme in Year 10. It is taught by teachers who receive training on sexual health topics, including current legislation and approaches.

Parents are given the opportunity to view materials and discuss the programme with the Co-ordinator and individual teachers at the Tutor/Parents/ evening.

The programme has been carefully planned by the Staff, Governors and Parents with the assistance from the Local Health Promotion Unit. The materials used are appropriate to the age range and within the educational guidelines.
