Liaison with Middle Schools The step from Middle to High School is an important stage in each
student’s education. q
Regular visits are made by staff
to our feeder Middle Schools to liaise concerning the curriculum. q
To identify any special needs
that students may have. q
To ensure that the year of
transfer is a stimulating and challenging experience for students. q
Links with Middle Schools involve
students as well as staff. q
Work Experience placements are
often arranged in local schools and a CGSE Drama group has visited four of our
‘feeder’ schools to present a play on ways of working together. Tamworth Manor Association All parents of students at the School are automatically members of the
Association and a Committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting which takes
place each Autumn Term. Educational and social
evenings as well as a variety of activities are organised through the school
year. Tamworth Newsletter A regular newsletter is sent to parents every half term containing school and community news, important dates and details of students’ achievements. |
