History – Year 8 Autumn

Topics covered

Year 8 will begin their studies be completing a short unit that will introduce them to the skills they will be using in history.

·        By doing a research project on the history of their family.

·        Examining the Tudor monarchs beginning with Henry VIII.

Assessment

The project on students “Family History” will be assessed to the levels set out in the National Curriculum.

At the end of the term, students will complete a test based on their subject knowledge.
