French – Year 9

In Year 9, the students have 3 x 1 hour lessons per week.

In the autumn they will start with ‘Advantage 3’ or Encore Tricolour 3’.

¨      Visiting a town (Paris)

¨      Writing a postcard about a trip.

¨      The weather.

¨      Using the underground (Metro).

¨      Daily routine.

¨      Part-time jobs.

¨      Talking about past experiences.

¨      Making excuses.

Homework

Homework will be set twice weekly consolidates by end of unit tests.

 Students are expected to learn and revise vocabulary regularly and to bring a bi-lingual dictionary to their lessons when necessary.
