Italian – Year 9

In Year 9, students have 3 x 1 hour lessons per week.

They will start in the Autumn term with ‘Ciao 2’, in which they will develop the four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) in the following topics.

¨      Birthdays/Horoscopes

¨      The Family

¨      Using the telephone.

¨      Food/Meal Times.

¨      How to buy food/vegetables.

¨      Eating out.

¨      Grammar.

Homework

Homework will be set twice a week consolidated by end of unit tests.

All students are expected to revise vocabulary regularly and to bring a bi-lingual dictionary to all lessons.
