Religious Education – Year 9

Topics covered.

Year 9 will be studying two topics during the autumn term.

·        They will be looking at ‘Rites of Passage’,

 examining important events in peoples’ lives across the six main world religions.

·        Students will examine moral dilemmas and study the Christian viewpoints on these issues.

Assessment.

Students will complete two tests. One at the end of each unit.

These tests will be based on subject knowledge as well as giving students the opportunity to express their own views.
