Mountain Biking

Venue:              Surrey.

¨      For each day of Interactive Week, members opting for this activity will cycle to various locations in the Surrey countryside, from where off-road routes will be taken.

¨      It is expected that a great deal of off-road mileage will be covered, most of which will be on the old Roman roads and bridle-paths.

¨      Students will keep a log of all routes taken and all places visited throughout the week.

¨      Students should be in possession of a mountain bike or similar off road bike, and it should be in good and safe working order.

¨      Students will leave the school at approximately 08.00 a.m. and return to school by 4.00 p.m. They should be competent cyclists and have a knowledge of the Highway Code.

¨      Highest standard of control and discipline will be expected from cyclists, and the group leader reserves the right not to select any student incapable of meeting these expectations.

¨      Students will be expected to wear a safety helmet.
